Meet the Artist
Hi! I'm Ajala Bandele. That handsome man holding on to me is my assistant, Alija. I started photography 2 days after this little guy was born. Ever since the alien monkey baby beamed into my life I've discovered a skill in capturing moments ranging from high volume corporate headshots, through product photography, all the way to actor headshots. Thanks to Capturely and The Headshot Truck for being my photography school.

I began acting in 1996, began writing in 2002, and directed my first feature film in 2014. I've not only been studying those three crafts, I've developed systems to teach others how to do it. Artistic brand development is the best way to sum up what my true skill is. From the eye of a viewfinder to the deeper story within the story, I love nothing more than helping people construct their artistic vision!
What I Stand For
The three wise monkeys Mizaru, Kikazaru and Iwazaru, who see, hear, and speak no evil, are about observing the world in it's best light. Look for the good, listen for the great, speak only the kind, and life will be glorious. I identify with the lesser known fourth wise monkey, Shizaru, who reminds me to do no evil by bringing the best, most authentic nature to everything I create. The "Wise Monkey" philosophy is part of my artistic philosophy. The Wise Monkey understands that you can be simple without being stupid, and complex without being complicated. When you take the time to understand the complexity of all things, you are given the freedom to take the simplest and most honest course of action. That is my story. That is Wise Monkey.
